Why music lessons?

Music develops and lends to all facets of learning. It supports skills in active listening, patience, and confidence. It both awakens and nurtures the inner life of the human. At Birdsong Music we align our music lesson curriculum to the individual’s developmental needs, skill, and interest. In the first month of private lessons, we focus on learning about the student, so we can develop a learning trajectory that is both efficient and engaging. There is an awareness of the importance of bringing the right thing at the right time for each learner.

Private and Group Lessons

Birdsong Music offers both private and group lessons at our studios in Allied Gardens and in the North Park neighborhood of Cherokee Point. We also offer private lessons in the comfort of your own home or online. Lesson timeframes may vary depending on each student’s learning needs. Students have the opportunity to learn a variety of genres in various contexts. We welcome all skill levels and ages from as young as 4 years old through adults.
